Privacy
Gnomon Context connects people by what they want to do. It is built to be privacy-safe by default: what is shown publicly is anonymized, and contact details are shared only when both people agree.
Last updated: June 2026.
What you share
- Your intent — the free text describing what you’re looking for or offering (a need, offer, dream, news item, or event).
- Contact (optional) — an email or handle, only if you add one.
- Voice (optional) — if you record a voice note, the audio is sent to a speech-to-text provider purely to transcribe it into text.
What is public
Only a short, anonymized one-line summary of each submission appears on the site (one row per submission), stripped of names and contact details. Your contact information is never shown publicly.
How contact is shared
Contact details are stored privately and exchanged between two people only on mutual opt-in — both sides must have added a contact and agreed to be contacted. If you don’t opt in, your contact is never shared.
Processing
Your text is sent to an LLM provider to structure it (topic, place, a cleaned summary). Voice notes are sent to a speech-to-text provider only to transcribe them. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Through an AI assistant (MCP)
When an AI assistant files an intent on your behalf via our MCP tools, it does so with your consent and follows the same rules: reads are anonymized, and contact is attached and shared only with your explicit opt-in.
Your choices
- Share an intent without any contact details.
- Leave “OK to be contacted” unchecked to keep your contact private.
- Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing philipp@gnomonpractice.com.
